In November 1982, the Safety-Brand rubber safe cap won Fine-quality reward of Tianjin city. In December 1982, our Safety-Brand rubber safe cap won Fine-quality reward issued by the State Chemical Industry Department. In September 1984 the Safety-Brand insulating sticky band won Fine-quality reward issued by the State Commercial Department; also in the same year our Safety-Brand low-voltage insulating shoes won Fine-quality reward of Tianjin city; In December 1988 the Safety-Brand low-voltage insulating shoes won the second prize in the First Chinese Labor-Protection Articles Contest and the Safety-Brand low-voltage insulating boots (6KV insulating boots for mineral producing) won the first prize. In October 1995 the Safety-Brand series products were chosen through customers¨ appraisal as the finest protecting products in China. In May 1996, we gained the certificate of ISO9002 for International Quality Control System. In June 1996 the Safety Brand was nominated as the famous brand name in Tianjin by Tianjin executive Government. The development of Safety Brand labor-protection insulating articles In 1954 the first pair of insulating gloves in China were initially produced in the pre-joint Lian-hua Rubber Products Manufactory. In 1956 the post-joint Lian-hua Rubber Products Manufactory produced the first pair of insulating boots in China. In 1957 Chinese first piece of rubber safe cap was produced in the post-joint Lian-hua Rubber Products Manufactory. Also in 1957, the high-voltage-insulating sticky band was firstly produced in the post-joint Lian-hua Rubber Products Manufactory; In 1958, Chinese first pair of 6KV boots for mineral producing were produced in the post-joint Lian-hua Rubber Products Manufactory. In 1960 the advanced techniques, invented by the technologists in the post-joint Lian-hua Rubber Products Manufactory, of smearing glue on the low-voltage-insulating sticky band was promoted to the whole labor-protecting product industry in the country. In 1963, the low-voltage-insulating boots were firstly produced in the post-joint Lian-hua Rubber Products Manufactory. In 1984, when the name of the manufactory was changed into Tianjin Labor-protection Rubber Products Manufactory, we produced the first flame-resisting auto-sticky band in our country. In 1996 the 20KV insulating rubber gloves were firstly produced in Tianjin Labor-protection Rubber Products Manufactory. In 2002 Chinese first 35KV insulating rubber boots were produced in Shuang¨an Protective Articles Co., Ltd.. In 2003 we produced series of electricity-resisting products in accordance with international technical standard. These products are including insulating operation gloves, insulating mat, insulating boots, etc. The concerned techniques were also promoted to the whole field in the country. Also in the same year, the oil-resisting boots were produced in Tianjin Shuang¨an Protective Article Co., Ltd. The technique of infusing rubber was initially used in the country. In 2003 we produced fire-resisting boots in accordance with the international technical standard and our advanced producing technique has been widely promoted in the country.
